Our company LiFaTeC® GmbH – was founded in August 1992.
The seat of our company is in the town of Hüttenberg, about 65 km to the north of Frankfurt/Main and 4 km to the south east of the city of Wetzlar, a city well known for its optical industry. From Frankfurt, you reach us in about 50 minutes via the Motorways A5 and A45.
On two production sites we produce – using computer controlled equipment – optical glass fibers made out of borosilicate with various apertures, single fiber and bundles in diameters as required in medical technology, sensory technology, as well as for general illumination purposes.
We maintain representations in the USA (www.lifatec.com, meadowst@lifatec.com), France, and Japan.
LiFaTeC® GmbH is ISO 9001-certified since March 1996. In June 2017 we adjusted our quality management system successfully to the recent ISO 9001:2015 rule. Gladly we send you our certificate on demand.
